This is a very short blog, but I just wanted to say welcome to October! Your new Halloween theme is ready! Things will stay like this for the rest of the month. If you hate the new look and you have an account, you can always change it back to the classic theme or even last Halloween's theme by editing your profile and changing the appropriate section under the extra details tab.

Hey there folks! So as far as the public is concerned, things are mostly back to normal. Registering for the forum is still down, but I'm working on that as well as a few things that make our job easier. For those of you that visit the forum, I'm very sorry for the current problems. Hopefully it will all be solved ASAP.

Podcasts are calming back down again. We're back down to two shows as COG/Ydoc just ended it's run, and with the best episode of the series mind you. Terrible Awful Show is getting into regular updates on the Fall Television game and it seems to finally be ironing out all of the kinks. Also, if iTunes, Blip, or our own streaming is not your thing, I'm working on getting the podcasts up on Youtube and Podkicker. Hopefully our shows will be wherever you want to listen in a very short span of time.

New ideas are in the works for a lot of things. This includes a new theme for this Halloween. I'm also working on a lot of new promotional art to be used in a few areas around the web.

If you like Matt as cohost of our shows or even as a reviewer here on YNIN, you might want to check out his new gig as a television reviewer over at Friday Night Death Slot! He's doing a great job being funny and way more fair than we are to anything on Stuff Weekly!.

Over the weekend our hosts apparently upgraded our servers. What that means, I'm not entirely sure as I really am only finding broken things at the moment, though I'm told we are more secure now. I am working hard to fix the problems this upgrade has caused, though it may take a while to find all of them. The most obvious issue that just full on breaks the site should be fixed by tomorrow.

The biggest issue for now is getting the forum signups working again. For a while, perhaps forever, accounts to the forum will no longer be directly tied to your account on the site. They will now be two separate things and you will have to actively sign up for both instead of registering for both simultaneously. That said, signups for the forum are down completely for the next few days.

Also it seems that we have been thrown back in time about a week. This means that the latest quiz and episode of Stuff Weekly! are no longer available but that should be fixed by this weekend. I'm sorry for whatever problems they may cause.

Hey guys, just wanted to letcha know that there will be a new quiz today, it'll just be slightly late. Amby is getting to it ASAP. Also, you guys should check out the next episode of Terrible Awful Show if you love the geekyness that is pop-culture icons fighting out. This is our first episode entirely devoted to that! ...well, that is if you don't count our TWIA episodes that did the same thing.
