How well do you know comic origins?

With the Amazing Spider Man taking the stale old origin story of one of the world's favorite heroes and taking a twist on it...I started thinking "Ya know, there are lots of strange origin stories out there. Let's see how well everyone knows them!". We'll be back with video games, anime and cartoons soon enough...but first...comics.





1.) First we have an easy one: A distant planet is on the verge of exploding. There, two parents give their baby a chance to live by sending him across the stars where he eventually crash lands on earth. Here he is found and raised by a small town couple where they find their adopted alien son has magnificent powers enhanced by Earth's yellow sun.
