How well do you know modern video game history?

The last video game history quiz brought us into the 90s. Since that is pretty close to where games are now, I figured we would go ahead and hop into one more history quiz before we get back to the personality ones.

1.) The late 80s and early 90s saw the evolution of the adventure game. They grew pictures and ditched the text for mouse pointing and clicks. LucasArts entered the graphic adventure fray with this game:

Sam and Max Hit the Road
King's Quest
Maniac Mansion
Monkey Island
Street Fighter

2.) LucasArts went on to make lots of graphic adventure games throughout the 90s. All of them up to 1998 were built with what would go on to be one of the most well known game engines of all time. It was called what?

Unreal
SCUMM
MUD
Spring
CryEngine
World Builder
Street Fighter

3.) The 90s was a time of heavy competition for video game consoles. In fact, it was so fierce that marketing was less than ...honest. While Sega and Nintendo were at each other's throats, this console tried to enter the battle by marketing itself as the first 16-bit system...even though it had an 8-bit processor.

NeoGeo
TurboGrafx-16
3DO
Jaguar
Tiger
Intellivision
Street Fighter

4.) The answer to the previous question did not do particularly well in North America, but the addition of this peripheral gave them enough success to extend its life into the late 90s.

32x cartridge enhancer
Racing wheel
Arcade joystick
CDRom Addon
Street Fighter

5.) This generation saw one console that was the first home experience that could match arcade quality since pong. Unfortunately it was also vastly more expensive than all others. What console was this?

Neo-Geo
Jaguar
3DO
SNES
Street Fighter

6.) Quick to jump onto the post 16-bit era, Atari released the first console of the next generation. What was it's name?

PSX
Neo-Geo
Jaguar
3DO
Street Fighter

7.) The first two consoles of this generation failed, but three more hopped up in their place. One of these started as a failed bid as an addon to the SNES, but would go on to dominate the generation.

Sega Saturn
PC-FX
3DO
Playstation
Jaguar
Street Fighter

8.) Nintendo tried leaping into the next generation in 1995 with a console that failed incredibly quickly with only 22 games on the market.

N64
Virtual Boy
Jaguar
Tiger
TurboGrafx-16
Street Fighter

9.) This game became the first title to popularize rhythm games in 1996.

beatmania
DDR
Guitar Hero
Track and Field
PaRappa the Rapper
Street Fighter

10.) Once Nintendo finally got into the generation with a successful system, it released several games that would define genres. One of these, GoldenEye 007, was a first person shooter that created several concepts that would become staples in the genre. What was one of these?

Headshots
Strafing
Vehicles
Targeting assist
Proximity weapons
Street Fighter

11.) This generation also saw the relase of the game that is widely considered to be the most critically acclaimed game of all time. What was it?

FFVII
Super Mario 64
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Sonic Adventure
The Sims
Street Fighter

12.) While 3D was the primary focus of the generation in the console market, mobile phones started into the gaming market when Nokia installed this very primitive game on their phones in 1998.

Snake
Tic Tac Toe
Checkers
Chess
Solitaire
Street Fighter
