Eros and Psyche

A true hopeless romantic, you know what real love is supposed to be like. Either you have it now or will not settle for anything less until you do. Your loved ones are lucky to have you, especially your significant other. Hope you find yourself a happily ever after.

Eros was the God of Love and son of Aphrodite. His mother, jealous of the beauty of the mortal woman Psyche, sent him to make her fall in love with the ugliest man alive. Instead, he fell in love with her himself. Whisking her away to his palace, he became her husband, only visiting her in the dark and never letting her see his face. They loved one another dearly until Psyche became too curious and looked upon Eros as he slept. Waking him when she spilled candle wax upon his wings, Eros left her. But Psyche loved him so much that she put herself through dangerous tasks set forth by Aphrodite to win him back. In the end, they prove that true love can concur all. Psyche was permitted by Zeus to become the Goddess of the Soul so she and Eros would never be parted.
